Dean-Page Hall
Built in the 1850s by William T. Simpson, the design of this house is Italian Renaissance,
raised cottage style.  The cupola was primarily for ventilation purposes with the surrounding
balcony referred to as the widow's walk or Captain's deck.  An air flow is built around the entire
foundation of the house creating good air circulation on the lower level.
