Long-Powell Home
This home was built in 1889 by Edgar and Mamie Rhodes Long.  Mamie was the
daughter of Chauncey and Elizabeth Rhodes.  According to the Rhodes diaries,
the lot was purchased on April 8, 1888 from William and Molly Simpson.
Molly was Elizabeth Rhodes' identical twin sister.  The lot had served as a
vegetable garden for the Simpson home (the now Dean-Page-Hall Home).
