Martin-Strand-Brown Home
The Martin-Strand-Brown cottage, circa 1877, was built by Edward Brown Young, builder of Fendall Hall,
for one of his daughters, Ada Louise (Young) Martin.  The present owner's grandparents, John Clayton Strand
and Alice Wills Singleton Strand, purchased and restored the home in the 1940’s.  Over six generations of this
family have called this lovely Victoria cottage home.  A beautiful bay window and porch decorate the front.
